Angelique Martinez, 16, of Oxnard organized a RoS in memory of her brother Anthony, 6, who was struck and killed by a pickup truck last Thanksgiving, was selected by the Ride of Silence board of directors as this years’ “champion and hero”. Here [...] Since May 1st, 22,768 riders have pedaled 1,404,133 miles in the National Bike Challenge. California is currently in 27th place, with 1,245 registered riders pedaling 86,727 miles. After a full week end of bike related fun, let’s keep the momentum growing!
