3/16/12San Gabriel River bike path upgrades plannedDone!
The San Gabriel River bike path (also known as the San Gabriel River Trail – or – SGRT) is scheduled to be resurfaced, beginning Monday.
The work is scheduled on weekdays to March 26, and will be done in three segments, starting just south of Pacific Coast Highway in Seal Beach and ending at Carson Avenue.

While crews are working on one segment, the other two segments will remain open.
The bike trail will be resurfaced with asphalt containing recycled rubber from about 6,000 old tires. Afterward, new reflective traffic striping and increased signage, including mile-markers, will be installed.

Project updates may be found at bikelongbeach.
