We love the MS rides and encourage participation. MS Society ride promoters have always included opportunity for local bike businesses to get involved, too. So we’d enjoy the change to work more closely with Bike to Bay.

  • Grafe’s Bike Drive is a retrieve, repair and recycle bike program designed by Laura Grafe

Needy kids can receive a free bike, and we sell bikes for our expenses. Trades Available.

We also buy bikes and pay more then double scrap prices.

So far has saved the landfill 2334 bikes out of which 1360 kids got them for free.

  • Hi there,

Do you promote charity rides at all? We host Bike MS Bay to Bay Tour each October and many Orange County cyclists participate. We’d love to get to word out to more cyclists about our ride – it’s fully-supported (voted “Best Cycling Event” in Southern California 5 years running by competitor magazine) and offers 15, 30, 100 or 150 mile rides over 1 or 2 days. Please let me know if you have advertising opportunities (we do have a small budget available) or any other pertinent information I should know. 

    Cheers,
    Jessica

  • Hi folks at O.C. Bicycle Coalition:

I’m a health reporter for The Register, and I linked to your page last month when I wrote about Bicycle mag’s Top 50 bike-friendly cities (http://healthyliving.freedomblogging.com/2010/04/10/is-orange-county-a-bike-friendly-place/18643/).

My post today is about a new shop opening in Laguna Hills: OC Bicycle Service + Garage. I thought it sounded interesting, particularly the roadside-assistance service they offer, as well as the three rentable work stations. So I wrote about them: http://healthyliving.freedomblogging.com/2010/05/20/new-bike-shop-offers-roadside-help/20025/

    Have a great week!
