I am conducting a workshop for current foster youth in regards to bicycle safety. I am trying to reach out in the community to see if there is someone who is able to volunteer their time to conduct sucht workshop on Wednesday, June 29th, 2011 from 7:00 Pm – 8:30 PM in Fullerton, CA.
How are you? I am a long time friend of Mark Ely at the OCTA who you’ve worked with before for the Bike to Work Week. I wanted to invite you to my encore screening of Riding Bikes with the Dutch.
It will be screening here in Long Beach, tomorrow Thursday, June 10th at 7pm at the Art Theatre. It compares our car-centered lives in Southern California with the biking lifestyle of the Dutch. Tickets are just $5.00 and the show will be presented by the city of Long Beach with a possible appearance by Mayor Bob Foster. I’ll be doing a Q and A session after the movie.
The movie premiered to a packed house in May and the theater wanted me back for more! Feel free to spread the word.
We’ll forward your inquiry to the Orange County Wheelmen, a club with many Fullerton members and 5 currently certified Cycling Instructors.
