Thousands of runners will be scattered about the OC from the start at Fashion
Island in Newport Beach, to the finish at the Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa.
The race starts at 05:30
Riders should be careful in particular around PCH in Newport
between MacArthur, Dover, and along the SART (Santa Ana River
Trail) for 1.5 miles between Sergestrom and Gisler.

After crossing PCH, runners will make their way to Bayside and follow that
back to PCH and up Dover, so those streets would be good to avoid while the
marathon is in progress.
This is not the day to set a speed record through these areas!
Hopefully the weather will be accomodative to runners and riders alike.
